Grown Ups....

Field Of Flowers...

I couldn't post anything during last few (duh!) days because I had my mid term exams and project work and also now I'm working on a commercial website which is a bit hard when comparing to others. Anyway, Today I got a few minutes of break and thought I should post something here. I hope you may find it so much annoying or whaterver to visit my blog everyday which has the same content as 1 month back. Sorry about that, People Working Here!!!!

SO, about this Image, I took this like weeks, may be months ago. These flowers are wery little but beautiful. Sadly I have no idea what people call them. So I will go with Yellow Flower :). If you know what this is please be kind enough to tell me. I found this area near a paddy field.

I should get back with my studies now. Have the final midterm test tomorrow (Design and Analysis Of Algorithms). Not hard but a stupid subject. U..Enjoy! I....Don't ask.

Hiding on Bed...

OK, Should I explain this? lol
I don't know who these little creatures are, but....Im going to find out. Not today...Im a bit sick today.
So. Enjoy! and..... ;-)

Water Droplet...

Because its raining and I was able to capture this trapped guy on this leaf, thought I should share it with you people. These big leaves, some were used to use these instead of umbrellas here in SL. How cool is that? if u say this leaf if relatively small, be hold! , there are many varieties of this kind which has Very big leaves. Give me some time to see whether I can capture one of those.
So, This pic is about water droplet. not the flower. ;-)
Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!

Today is my gf's birth day and I post this flower for her. I know its not a rose but I hope she will like this one. And its been an year for our relationship and we went through a lot together. We also broke up once because of my stupidity. I have been a good lover since then. I have been responsible for my actions and I now never lie to her. I tell her everything I am doing, I am not keeping big secrets from her. She is the best thing that happened to me and I know she is the one for me. If we were in USA or somewhere I would purpose her now but in here, its out of the culture. Shit. I love her a lot and Someday I will marry her and I will celebrate her birthday like never before.

About this flower, I know nothing. Just saw, Just Clicked. I used Macro mode though. I love my Camera.

So Enjoy!!!...
Tomorrow I am going to post some ugly things...

Look...Its an Elephant!!!

So for all those who doesn't know who this big animal is...Its an Elephant. I have heard that some people from USA has never seen one. :-D Well, They are here in Sri Lanka. Wanna see? Come visit. U can go on an elephant ride too. (On its back..U knw...Like a horse)

So I guess I should tell about this more. Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus maximus) is one of the few remaining mega-herbivores (Herbivores are animals that are adapted to eat plants) in the world. The Sri Lanka elephant population about 2,500 - 3,000 Elephants and about 7% of world population. There is an Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala and its a unique place in entire world where abandoned and disable Elephants get lot of care and protection. This place is one of the world's best Elephant breeding centers as well. (sources)

I have more pics and tell me if you want to see them, I can post them. Enjoy!

I added a Poll....U can vote for the best pic out of four I picked..... ;)

Talinum paniculatum.....

Well....people say this is an excellent spinach substitute. anyway I don't really know. Well..Flower is pink and there is a spider. Spider is bit burly. Sorry about that. I just wanted to take the flower. ;)

So my bunny used to eat these leaves. And I don't know what those black stuff on this flower are.

Enjoy....Leave any comments if you have any...

Monster Flower...Version 2

As I promised (did I promise? I don't know) ...anyway This is another shot of the same flower I posted earlier. Look down there!
I just knew that I am going to need a better camera. I have a 6 MP camera. I need a 10M or 12M cam now. When I first launched my blog, not this one. That topic wasn't my thing. Now this is my thing.

Anyway people...Enjoy this, I have to watch Smallville Season Finale...

Please leave any comments below..thanks!

Monster Flower...

Hmm...I read about how to gain traffic to my blog. I know I have some interested people who visit my blog. I am really sorry I can't put a post here everyday. Mother nature is rude at that point ;). But I am hoping to post anything nice and catchy as soon as I caught them in my cam.

This is a small flower. Very little one. I used macro mode to get the close up and had to use the flash too. Sorry about that. Anyway I will try to get another one without flasher. Its raining here. We can't even go out. If u take a closer look, you can see the water drops on this flower.Did you see that? This looks like monster with the Monster Like mouth.

Well...enjoy. Leave your comments, If you are speechless, at least say Hi ;)

Sunflower!!!

OK...its not really a sunflower. Don't blame me. I have no suitable topic for this shot. I'm having my final exams these days so spare me some time folks. I got more than topics to think about. :D
anyway this is also a pic from mobile phone camera. 3MP..just take a look there is some kinda bug on this flower stalk. its black ant. and this flower is broken. can you see that yellow anther? ( I really don't know what is the real name, sorry ).

One thing I gotta tell you is that many people have appreciated my style (photos, layout, this stupid description.....etc etc). They really motivates me to do more. I will keep this up to the best. Thanks again. I want more comments on these so I can improve my skills more. If U got nothing to say -- speechless :D -- its ok. ;) (does anyone know how to put emoticons here??????? )

The Colorful Garden...

Trust me this is NOT a modified shot. This place on Sri Lanka actually exists!!! Look at these colorful flowers. Aren't they beautiful? This is actually one place from my mate's home garden. His parents love to grow various kinda flowers. Its the angle that determines the uniqueness of the photo. I really don't have much to say. There is something wrong with my stupid internet connection.....wish i could go back in time and give dad some more money to buy an awesome connection. this sucks.... anyway ...Enjoy!!!

Mobile Phone Image...1 (Daisies???)

This photo taken by a mobile phone. 3Mpx. Not bad right? If anyone know what this flower is feel free to comment below. I take pics but I don't know names. damn.
The thing with mobile phone camera is that we can't get the correct expected output like a normal digital cam. I took a lotus, the focusing was out of range. I focused on the flower, but pic has focused outer area of the flower. I will post it someday. don't blame me if it is not good enough. OK. enjoy!!!

Best Macro Ever...

I think this may be the best macro I ever took. May be not for others but for me it is. :D This flower is very small, and NO effects at all. Nothing. This is the Original. I was so amazed after seeing my own skills. :D kinda blowing my own trumpet..right? anyway I have a habit of Thinking to my self. It really helps me. Ok enough about me.
I think this flower is something called Baby Rose but not sure.

Anthurium...

Hmm...This one is a random one. I didn't think of the angle or perfect distance for the shot. I saw it, Just took it and now here you all can see it. Took this after a heavy rain. I hope you all know what this flower is. Anthurium people....
I was just thinking that I should go out with my camera in my pocket or somewhere so I can take more awesome shots. But the thing is I am kinda shy. What I feel is how can I just take a picture when everyone is watching? I don't know. It kinda makes me uncomfortable. nonetheless this is my hobby kinda thing so I think I should do it when I am comfortable, unlike a professional photographer. I was thinking to do a job or start my own business. Can't just do the studying, I want to apply what I learn to real world problems. anyway it is out of the topic. but Ideas are always welcomed....just hit that contact me button.

Rising Up...

As you can see, little baby plants are rising up from the ground to get some light. these are Senia (White) flower plants. and if you see closer, you can see I have tried to do some stupid things. like growing up grapes. its worth the shot. For all who are wondering what is this place...this place is where i grow my new plants from seeds. and for the record it works pretty well...as U can see... enjoy!!!

Angle....

Here I am again with something nice..as i see. well, someone asked me how I take these photos. well...Its just the angle i take. normal exposure in macro mode. no flash. I first look at whatever u want to capture in every angle i can think of. Then I use my camera to get the correct focus. As you can see, in this one middle has the focus, surrounding area is blurred.I love that effect. Its not an effect which I captured using any build in software in my cam, its just the way I focused. And I know I have a damn good eye for these kinda things even though I use glasses (Not all the time).

Rise and Shiny...

Hello everybody...Good to be back after a butt-load of work. Studying and Exams is going to be the life of mine now.  anyway Sorry for this very very late post. No time for hobbies now.

Art..

To be honest this is not Rain Drops. These are water drops.I just tried to catch a nice scene. I got this. Look n Feel Amigos.....

Pond....Old pond

Today I talked to my G.F. and now I'm kinda ok. Still sad though. Anyway I am in a mood for posting. so...I guess they haven't cleaned this thing in years. anyway It look more natural. doesn't it?

Im Sucking..... :D

Can you all see that Bee on this flower? (duh) ...I didn't mean you are blind. anyway I am trying to be cool b/c you all know what I am going through these days. anyway This flower is another one I don't know the name. But its from a garden. I don't know why these people don't put a notice stating what this is. However enjoy my photography and give me a shout out (right corner) or a comment. Thanx for watching...More are just around the corner. Just tel me what do you like to see. I will try to put them here....
