As you can see It falls down in two cascades and is an inviting site for regular bathers because it is fairly easily reacheable from a footpath ( actually there are many ) downhill through greeny tea shrubbery. Named after a British colonist, these are one of two waterfalls threatened by a proposed hydro-power scheme in the area. I don't know why these stupid politicians try to ruin natural beauty.

A waterfall spotted on the way home
This is St.Clair's Waterfall. Not that high but beautiful. Its close to the main road(Avissawella to Nuwara-Eliya).The hill country is full of this type of small waterfalls.This is not a closeup so its not such a beautiful scenery. Isn't it?
